WestWave
Introducing our first ever music festival! “WestWave” invites you to experience the talents of USC artists in this multi-genre live music daytime event. This event is sponsored by Liquid Death and features vendors from Duffl, Iced Wines Tattoos, Majic Meows, and My Muse. Since April is the month for music festivals, 840 West wanted to join in on the fun! Come experience the “WestWave” with us on April 7th from 2-7pm at Surf Haus!
Annual Programming
Mid-week Insomnia
Our very first show, “Mid-Week Insomnia,” began in early 2021 the week before Halloween to begin the “madness” of Halloween festivities. This event happens each year at Surf Haus in the USC neighborhood and features both 840 West and USC outside artists. Attendees come fully dressed in costume and ready to rock out! This event features local and USC vendors, brand partnerships and sponsorships, and a bartender. Insomnia brings the USC community together as it features USC students displaying their art in all capacities!
Sunset Sessions
Sunset Sessions- as debuted last spring- is our annual artist showcase. This is a much more smaller and intimate show featuring acoustic sets of exclusively 840 West signed artists. Sunset Sessions takes place on a rooftop venue in the USC neighborhood in the late afternoon/ early evening right before the sun goes down. This event is special as it highlights the artists featured on our roster and a summation of all the work we did for the school year. This showcase is the final show of the year and the last “Hurrah” for 840 West team members before finals week starts.
