LAUREN RINTOUL

With her emotive lyricism and intimate sound, Lauren Rintoul is the friend every listener needs. Her music serves as an anthem for heartbreakers who realize it’s over too late with a nostalgic feel with a digestible pop twist. Her art is shatteringly real and achingly honest, drawing inspiration from veterans such as Amy Winehouse and Norah Jones and peers including Billie Eilish and Lizzy McAlpine.

Born in Toronto, Canada, Lauren moved to Los Angeles at the age of four and began writing songs just a year later. Adding to her talents, she is a trained pianist, bassist, and self-taught guitarist. Though playing, writing, and singing have dominated her life, Lauren’s skills expand far outside the musical realm. She attended Penn State University for her freshman year of college with an intent to pursue microbiology. When presented with the opportunity to transfer to the University of Southern California’s Music Industry program, Lauren chose to put her music at the forefront. She has spent recent years gaining experience in the industry, working in live music, sync licensing, A&R, and more. Armed with raw talent and business savvy, Lauren is ready to share her art with the world. She invites you to take this journey with her and stay tuned for future releases.
